Affiliate Disclosure

In 2015, the Federal Trade Commission released their new rules for Disclosure Compliance. These rules are set in place to ensure that readers or viewers of web media know if the blogger, writer, or other type of presenter is sponsored, endorsed, or partnered with a different company. That is to say, users of a website have a right to know if the website owner is making money by sharing a link or product.

In compliance with the FTC guidelines, please assume the following about links and posts on this website: any/all of the links on are affiliate links from which we receive a small compensation from sales of certain items.

What are affiliate links?
An affiliate link is a link to an external website that has been encoded with a tracking cookie. That cookie tracks whether or not you make a purchase after clicking on the link, and if you do, the owner of the website where you clicked the link receives a small commission.

For instance, if a user clicks on an affiliate link for a cider chalice located on and then proceeds to purchase the item, we would receive a small commission for that sale.

Please note that the price of the item will be the same whether or not you purchase it through the affiliate link. You will not pay more by using the affiliate link.

We currently use the following affiliate programs:

  1. Amazon Services LLC Associates Program:

Cider Couple is participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to and affiliated sites.

What about sponsored content?                                                                       If a post is sponsored, we will disclose so at the beginning of the post.

Closing Remarks                                                                                             We only recommend products that either we personally use or that we would recommend to our own family and friends.

Any purchases that you make using or affiliate links help to support the costs associated with keeping our website running, as well as other living expenses (gotta pay the rent somehow).

Thank you for your support, and we hope you find our website useful!
