Overall Thoughts and Rating
This cider starts off with some carbonation, as well as a very slight bite. This initial bite, however, quickly dissipates, and the cider becomes pleasantly sweet, with notes of honey and sweet apples. It finishes with a flavor of whiskey. This cider is just a tad under semi-sweet (due to the slight dryness upfront), and it is a relatively light cider that leans a tad toward medium body. Overall, I really enjoyed this cider, and I found the hint of whiskey to be a unique and tasty addition to the cider’s flavor profile. As this cider is neither overly dry nor sweet, it would make for a great introductory cider for someone new to the world of craft ciders.
Has almost no bite to it when first sipping it.
Very appley taste throughout the sip (some ciders are more appley tasting than others).
Can start to taste the whiskey flavor in the middle of the sip, and it lingers throughout the rest of the sip.
Has a light body to it overall, perhaps a touch toward medium body.
Toward the drier end of the spectrum; however, the whiskey flavor makes me want to keep coming back for more sips.
Great cider to have more than just one glass of due to its flavor and slight dryness.
