Our Review of the Cider

Julia's Thoughts and Rating:

There is a bit of carbonation, as well as some bite, upfront, but both gradually decrease throughout the course of the sip, eventually fading into nothing more than a slight tingle on your tongue.  Midway through the sip, some bitterness starts to come through, and toward the end of the sip, a slightly sour taste emerges.  This is a dry (there’s not really any sweetness to it), light-bodied cider.  I found the cider’s flavor profile to be similar to that of a light, sour beer, so this could be a nice option for anyone who is looking for a gluten-free beer alternative.  Overall, this is an okay cider.  I was not blown away by it, and I would have preferred it to have a more complex flavor profile and a less bitter/sour taste.

Ramsay's Thoughts and Rating:

  • Has a medium bite upfront that quickly fades.

  • Has a mild carbonated feel to it that gives the cider a medium-ish body profile.

  • The flavor profile reminds me of a citrus flavor. It has a very lemony flavor that lingers throughout the sip.

  • It has an off-dryness to it, but I still taste some sweet notes to it.

  • The apple flavor taste is minor and comes toward the end of the sip.

  • This cider reminds me of a sweeter type of beer with its flavor and body profile.

  • Despite it’s dry quality, I could see myself having at least 2 before changing it up.

  • Another good option going into summer.
