Overall Thoughts and Rating

Julia:

Downeast’s Double Blend is a tasty cider, and dare I say, better cider than their Original Blend. It leans on the sweeter side, making it an approachable cider to those new to the cider game. The cider’s acidity and fairly high ABV keep the sweetness in check, preventing it from ever tasting sickly sweet. As it is somewhat heavy, I would likely only drink one glass in a sitting.

Ramsay:

Overall, this is another great cider choice. The higher alcohol content combined with the acidity and sweetness makes this nice to drink on a warm summer evening. If you’re a beer drinker, this is a great drink to have at a restaurant when you feel like switching things up. It’s also a good introductory cider for someone looking to wet their feet in the world of craft cider.
